	With Grant's assistance, Greater Waterville Communities for Children Coalition was awarded a $500,000 grant from the federal Drug-Free Communities Support Program, administered by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

	Western Maine Community Action, Inc.

	Grant has written several grant proposals for Western Maine Community Action, Inc. WMCA serves people in Franklin, Androscoggin and Oxford counties, in the Western Mountains region of Maine. Its comprehensive Community Action Programs assist low- to moderate-income families with heating assistance, food, healthcare, career counseling and other vital services.

	Writing Consulting/Editing

	Encompass Marketing and Design

	Grant works on a sub-contract basis as a copy writer for Encompass Marketing and Design of Auburn and Oakland Maine. www.encompassmarketing.com

	Grant is providing editing and manuscript critque for Dr. David Hurst, MD, an Allergist and Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, who is writing a book to help parents understand the connection between allergies and chronic middle ear disease in children.

	Grant has provided manuscript critique for Artist Helen Stevens, children’s book illustrator, who has her own line of art greeting cards, and wants to break into print as a children’s author/illustrator. www.HelenStevensGalleryCards.com
